Sepp Blatter Deal Revealed - The New York Times: The German soccer federation on Thursday revealed a deal worth 6.7 million euros, about $7.4 million, between Sepp Blatter, the suspended FIFA president, and Franz Beckenbauer, one of the 2006 World Cup organizers. FIFA, the sport’s world governing body, said the payment “in no way corresponds to FIFA’s standard processes and regulations.”
