Peloton CEO Says Child Died in Treadmill Accident - WSJ: Consumers are spending more time exercising at home amid the pandemic. Like Peloton, other makers of treadmills, stationary bikes and workout equipment have seen big increases in demand. U.S. sales of home-fitness equipment nearly doubled in the quarter ended Sept. 30, with cardio equipment such as treadmills notching the biggest gains, according to market research firm NPD Group.
